Stefanie Willach
She studied Germanist/Journalist (Univ.) Stefanie Willach has been supporting the kitchen industry for more than 30 years. Just last year, she was able to celebrate her 25th anniversary as editor-in-chief of the magazine KÜCHENhandel. For 10 years now, Stefanie Willach has also been the owner of Interieur Verlag and editor of the trade magazines KÜCHENhandel, Küchennews and Sanitär+Heizungnews. It stands for opinionated journalism, for critical but always benevolent support for the kitchen industry. The specialist titles KÜCHENhandel and Küchennews are highly regarded in the kitchen industry.
Gerhard Habliczek
Gerhard Habliczek has worked as a specialist journalist in the furniture industry since the 1990s. With “wohninsider”, he launched his own trade magazine in the B2B sector in 2010. “wohninsider” is now the leading trade magazine for Austrian furniture retailers. With the subtitle “Here is the industry speaking”, Habliczek and his team regularly report on industry internals in print and online.
Michael Ebner
After completing his carpentry apprenticeship, Michael Ebner studied architecture and industrial design at the University of Artistic and Industrial Design in Linz and then completed Post Graduate Studies of Product Design at the Art Center College of Pasadena, LA. He worked in design and product management for Bene Büromöbel and worked on numerous projects in the areas of architecture, interior and product development. At the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences, he teaches as head of furniture and interior design in the Design and Product Management (DPM) and Wood Technology and Timber Construction (HTB) courses. International teaching assignments in Barcelona, Stuttgart, Istanbul and Tel Aviv as well as numerous international study trips and workshops guarantee design discourse in an international context.
Hubert Kastinger
KR Hubert Kastinger is a passionate entrepreneur and a central voice in Austrian furniture retailers. As managing director of a renowned furniture store in Schärding and operator of the JOKA — SCHÖSSWENDER showroom in Linz, he sets standards in home decor. In his role as chairman of the furniture retailer, he is intensively committed to the concerns of the industry. He is currently particularly committed to practical solutions within the framework of the Deforestation Ordinance. Apprentice training and the further development of EBS Kuchl are also particularly important to him — he is actively committed to promoting young talent and securing the future of the furniture trade.
Michael Pecherstorfer
Michael Pecherstorfer completed a carpentry apprenticeship and then attended the master school in Hallstatt. After experience in well-known carpentry companies and continuing education in the areas of interior design, furniture construction, CAD and CNC, he took over his parents' business with two employees in Haibach ob der Donau in 1998. He now runs the Pecherstorfer carpentry workshop in Pupping and the Arnreiter carpentry workshop in Arnreit. 35 employees combine masterly carpentry with modern interior design. As a passionate entrepreneur, he has been involved in the WKO Upper Austria for many years as branch chairman for trade and crafts and in the health sector as state chairman of the ÖGK Oberösterreich”.
